“Creativity has

the power

to change

culture, and the wider world, in

a deeply positive way”

About Celia Fern

I have known what I wanted to do since I was 12. I consider myself one of the lucky ones who always knew what they were going to do for a living, and even more so for having excitement and passion for it.

In advertising, I saw not only the potential to combine my creativity and business acumen; but I saw massive opportunities to properly represent humans and hopefully contribute to some positive impact through the brands that people know and trust.

I care about what we put out into the world. Whether it’s a Times Square Billboard, a commercial, or a social media advertisement - I will care about what it says and does for the brand it represents and the society it lives in.

I designed my own major in college. You might think that’s great and interesting, or you might think less of it. I get a lot of both. Here’s how I made it work: I interned at agencies every summer throughout college. I used my internship experiences and the advice of mentors as guides for what I needed to learn to be a better Art Director. I executed these needs by designing my own major in Creative Advertising.

I am still learning and hope that I always will be.
